Setting Up Your Exceed Dial-Up Account

1. Place the Exceed Connectivity Software CD into your CD drive. It should automatically open itself in a new window. If it

does not, perform the following.

Open My Computer
Double click the CD drive in which you placed the CD.

2. You should see a file in the CD labeled dialer. Double click this file.

3. Click yes at the following prompt.

4. Allow the dialer software to install itself. The following message appears when installation is complete. Click OK.

5. The program will install a desktop shortcut. Locate the Exceed Technologies icon on your desktop and double-click.

6. The Exceed Technologies Connectivity Software menu will appear.

7. Type in the following information

For USERNAME: Type in your Exceed email address ( all lowercase )
For PASSWORD: Type in your password ( all lowercase )
If you need to reset your username or password, or do not know it, please contact our offices.

8. Select your dialup number. This number will be used to connect your computer to the Internet.

Click Select, and the following menu appears.

Select the state and city in which you reside.
Select your area code
The dialer should provide you a local access number given the above information. If it does not, contact our offices, and we will provide a number for your use. The number we provide you over the phone may be put into the dialer manually.

SKIP TO #9 if you located an appropriate number from our listings.

To manually input a dial up number, click New Phone Number. The following menu appears.

Type in the dial-up number provided by one of our technicians. Be sure to select use dialing rules and type in your area code. Click OK when complete.

9. After selecting your dialup number, you will be back at the main menu, and ready to connect to Exceed. Click connect, and you will be on the Internet in no time!
